Body Language and nonverbal communication

Did you know that almost 80% of our communication is nonverbal. This is how you dress, how you stand, walk and gesture. Even before you utter the first word people are judging you by your body language.

Because of this you need to learn to read, decode and interpret body language. Understanding body language gives you power. Imagine being able to enter a room and know who liked you and who didn’t. Imagine being able to tell when someone was lying to you or if your co-workers were secretly trying to sabotage you behind your back. Would your life be better if you knew how to communicate better with your body, your clothes and your gestures?

What if you had the power to really connect with someone, be it someone of the opposite sex, your boss or a client you were meeting with to close the deal, would your life improve? You can do this by developing your ability to use, read and decode body language.

• Know when someone is lying to you. There are many nonverbal clues that someone is lying to you can be the first way you know. You do not want to misinterpret these however.
